Developers selling plots on unapproved layout:

Stating that some people were selling plots in layouts that lacked approval, VGTM-UDA officials on Wednesday cautioned buyers not to invest in plots in illegal layouts. UDA vice-chairperson P. Usha Kumari said that only 319 layouts had received approval from the UDA.

 

“Permission for layouts planned in places brought under the UDA’s jurisdiction must also be taken before the plots are sold,” she said, asking buyers to verify the layout approval number and plan with the UDA officials before finalising the purchase.
